Privacy Policy

Who this policy is for
Jumble Words (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a word puzzle game designed primarily for children under 10 years old. Parents and guardians should read this policy with their child. We take children’s privacy seriously and design the app to collect as little information as possible.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to parents and guardians. It applies to the Jumble Words mobile app and this website.
Our promise to kids and parents
- We do not ask children for their real name, home address, email address, phone number, or other contact information.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing, profiling, or selling to third parties.
- We do not require children to create an account with a password or social login to play.
- Game progress is tied to the device, not to a child’s real-world identity.
Information we collect
To make the game work, we may collect limited technical and gameplay information:
- Device identifier: a random or device-based ID used only to save progress, coins, settings, and rewards on that device.
- Optional display name: a nickname shown in the game (default: “Player”). Parents should help children choose a nickname that is not their real name.
- Gameplay data: level progress, scores, hints used, wallet balances (coins/gems), language and sound settings, and similar in-game activity.
- Approximate region: an optional country code, if provided, used only for basic game features such as leaderboards or localization—not for advertising profiles.
- Purchase records: if a parent buys an in-app item through the app store, we store a record of that purchase so the item can be delivered. Payment details are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us.
- Ad-related events: if ads are shown, we may record that an ad was viewed or rewarded so we can grant in-game rewards. We aim to use child-appropriate ad configurations where available.
On this website, we may use standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and reliability. We do not use them to identify children.
Information we do not collect from children
- Real full name, postal address, or precise location
- Email address or phone number of the child
- Photos, videos, or voice recordings of the child
- Social media accounts or chat messages
- Persistent identifiers used to track a child across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising
How we use information
- Operate the game and save progress on the child’s device
- Deliver rewards, hints, daily bonuses, and purchased items
- Show leaderboards or scores when that feature is enabled
- Keep the app secure, fix bugs, and improve gameplay
- Comply with law and respond to parent requests
We do not sell children’s personal information. We do not use children’s data for behavioral advertising.
Ads and third-party services
The app may show advertisements (for example, rewarded or interstitial ads) provided by third-party ad networks through the Apple App Store or Google Play ecosystem. When ads are enabled for a child-directed experience, we instruct partners to treat the traffic as directed to children and to disable personalized advertising based on behavioral profiles, to the extent those controls are available.
App store platforms (Apple and Google) process payments and may collect information according to their own privacy policies when a parent makes a purchase.
Parental consent and control
Because Jumble Words is directed primarily at children under 10, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use of the app and any in-app purchases. If we ever need to collect personal information beyond what is described here, we will obtain verifiable parental consent first, as required by applicable law (including COPPA in the United States).
Parents may:
- Review information associated with their child’s device
- Request deletion of that information
- Ask us to stop further collection
- Clear local game data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage
Data retention and security
We keep gameplay and device-linked records only as long as needed to provide the game or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please contact us if you believe there has been unauthorized access.
International users
If you use Jumble Words from outside the country where our servers are located, information may be processed in another country. We still apply the child-privacy protections described in this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. For material changes that affect children’s privacy, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
